Words of Power - Part 2

God’s word says a lot about Him. First of all He has to be really omnipotent to speak what was in His heart and it actually happened in 3D with all the pieces in the perfect place and the correct order.

What He did was never done before and cannot be duplicated by anyone else or by anything or any person that is called god. Secondly, the world stood within its bounds. The earth never spun off its axis and fall to pieces after natural disasters or any other thing. It stood the test of time, just from one word that spoke it into existence thousands of years ago. Thirdly, this makes God extremely credible since the world that is still standing firm as a witness of His power. Now that’s Word Power!

So do you have a problem that is bigger than the world? I doubt it, though in the moment it may seem that way. Have you tried talking to friends who don’t seem to think it’s a big deal? How about talking to families who don’t know how to make things better? When the humans around us fail to reach us where we are many people turn to things like eating, drinking, drugs and other destructive behaviors, not necessarily because they want to be addicted, but simply hoping to ease their pain. However, the reason doesn’t justify the choice, but that’s the reality for many people who feel they have nowhere to turn.

Very often God is the last resort. After all He is invisible and for many the old adage applies, “out of sight, out of mind.”  But since it has been proven that God is bigger than the world He called into existence, then He must be bigger that the circumstances that you’re facing right now. Knowing that His word is still active after thousands of years, then it’s worth giving Him the opportunity to speak to your suffering, pain, loss, addictions, depression, disappointments or stress of any kind.
