Why would God bother to not only count but to assign a number to each hair on your head? He is a loving Father who is interested in you, His child! He enjoys being close to you and wants you to trust Him. He wants a relationship with you so that you can get to know Him as your Father. He wants you to understand His patience and His gentleness towards you.

He wants you to know how much He loves you and cares for the things that pertain to you no matter how insignificant they may seem. He is giving you His undivided attention. It’s not about the hair, it’s about a Father who totally loves His son or daughter, that’s you and He wants you to know He is not too busy. Everything about you matters.

This Father’s day is the perfect time to get to know your Father in heaven. You don’t need any special clothes; you don’t need to be perfect; come no matter how messed up you think you are, He still wants a relationship with you.

Remember, you are not an orphan because your Father in heaven is still alive and this Father’s day He only wants one gift. He wants you, His precious son, His precious daughter come to Him.

If you’re not sure that you even want a relationship or may think He doesn’t care, just ask Him to give you the willingness to come to Him. He already loves you and will teach you how to love Him.

Pinch yourself, did you feel that? Your Father in heaven gave you the ability to feel, to breathe, to eat, to walk, to think but most of all to receive His undying love for you.

Your Father in heaven cares about you. Don’t forget that His Father’s day gift won’t cost you any money. All He wants is you, just the way you are!
